Hi there,

Me and my dad would be interested in seeing a Commer which was for sale (doesn't really matter if not) but they all seem to be so bloomin' far away. anyone a bit closer?

Admin and I both live in Alton, NE Hampshire. You would be welcome to come up, Frodo is a slightly altered Dodge badged commer (no flutes and a few other things), Admins V8 is, well, it's obvious really!

Commers don't come easy, you have to work at them and that very much includes the purchasing process. As long as you're serious about Commer ownership then if it's in the UK then that should be your outer limit! You won't get much choice if you're not prepared to travel.
 
I am prepared to travel for a purchase but just to see one its a bit to far, I would happily drive that but I can't (only 16) so i am relying on my dad, its looking like the ones in Alton are the best bet to see or poole.

Do what I did. Bought Peggy on the strength of some photos, emails and phone calls then drove up to Dundee from Watford to collect her.
