Anybody got any ideas how to remove sticky apple paste from inside a 45 gallon drum ?
Hosing it didn't work, and neither did trying to lick it out :I:D

That would be the obvious solution, but i don't want to damage the paint.

Put a gallon of cheap bleach in and top it up with water and leave to soak...

If it was here I'd lay it down in the garden, the dogs would have it looking like new soon enough:)

Tim with your welding capabilities why don't you just grind it open, clean it out, and then seam weld it back up again :D hey presto..
 
Even George was beaten by it [:0]

I left it soaking in water this afternoon and it seems to be slowly dissolving it, so i shall leave it a day or two ;)

It has :p checked it tonight after it spend all day in the sun, and it was pretty warm water. Tipped it out and 90% has dissolved, just a few bits left in the bottom soaking now :)

Hopefully by the end of the month, which means after all the mistakes and development feck ups.............December :D
