thanks to everyone that made us new comers feel welcome even if we didnt have vans. Cant waut until October see you there. even thinking about selling the Gt so I can get a van a bit quicker.
Thanks everyone for a wicked weekend, we are now HOME
Scott we had a few spare fan belts (got loads with the van but they are all slightly different so thought a selection was best) shame we didn't see you! Rupert, it is uphill on the way home isn't it?
Well chuffed with the 580 glitch free miles in the van although there is a bit of a squeak to sort out in the front suspension somewhere now and having had to top the diff up a few times really need to sort that oil seal........
Roll on Woolfy's meet
You will not be able to get rid of us now!
Little Stan had a wail of a time, even enjoyed the endelss hours on the motorway (well kind of).
Your kids were adorable Rupert! But not as much as the icing on the popyseed cake!
What a brilliant weekend, we can't thank Martin and Karen + the extended Commer family for all the hardwork that went into this weekend. I'll be emialing the FA to reccomend your grass growing skills to the fools in charge at Wembley!
We went from arriving absolutely certain of selling our 'jinxed' Fonty to leaving with dreams of a 1725 engine, a vauxhall conversion, a V8...bankruptcy.... As much as she keeps us on our toes the help of everyone there and especially Tim, as always just makes the problems seem irrelevant. A drunken hug from Scott helped too a 1:30am as we arrived!! And the stories of other peoples problems shows we are not alone :I
We admired all the vans and the owners even moreso.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Martin and Karen for a wonderful weekend.
Baz has put somewhere how well behaved all the kids were I want to second that. They have all been a pleasure to meet and are a credit to their parents and Commers
Also a big thankyou to Barb for teaching me to crochet, I may just have a new blanket by next year.[8D]
