Firstly, Panky has kindly offered his services and has been nominated 'Ticket sales manager' He will keep a record of everyone wanting to attend, take bookings and collect the dosh [}]
Next is cost. £25 per head (1/2 price for kids 5-15). This will include a hog roast and entertainment on the Satuday night, and camping facilites for the weekend. I am not charging for the use of the land, but all profits are to go to Breast Cancer Research.
A deposit of £5 per head is required on booking and the balance due no later than 30th June. Anyone wishing to pay in instalments, can do so, just ask Panky. [email protected]
For a quick taste of the live entertainment, go to www.sarahcollinsmusic.co.uk
Great news Martin, we will be there- maybe Mildred will be there before us, you can count on our support for the research of breast cancer, best wishes to you both.
Denis & Margaret.
I am more than happy to get involved with Commerfest-The Birthday Bash, after all I sewed the seeds of an idea so I can't just sit back and let Martin do all the work:I
As Martin said I'll be co-ordinating the ticket sales so please all enquiries to me - Martin will have his hands full organising everything else. You don't have to shell out everything at once, there is a long time before the Birthday Party, so if you want to pay in instalments - no problem. Normally our gatherings are an informal affair but this is special - a one off to celebrate our 50th anniversary and to help a good cause to boot - so let's make it a weekend to remember and a record attendance for a Commermeet.
I've just checked out the website for the entertainment and it looks cool - rumour has it that there will be a hogroast as well. Please email me for bookings and I will supply the address for payments. If you have already been to Commerland (Martins place) you will probably agree that the ticket price is probably worth the trip around the collection on it's own so everything else is a bonus. Let's make it an event worthy of our vans - and the nominated charity - see you there [^]
It would be very helpful if all tickets are paid for by the end of June, lots of things to book and pay for
That link to her website don't exist? oh and Panky i meant, Com-don is spelt Comm - Don;-) just being cheeky was all. No offence meant in the making of that comment!
Non taken old chap, It was a brainstorm list put down at lightning speed:I (corrected now)
If you copy the website link into the address bar the site comes up.
I was only kidding matey;-) Com-don is cool by me. I was putting www. before as it was left out of Martin's link. She sounds pretty good and as you say "Fitting" look forward to it.
You're all down on the list but please email me to confirm number of people and I'll send you my address for cheques, postal orders, gold coins etc - sorry the trade in cake has been suspended for this occasion :I
