Commer workshop manuals nos. 572 & 573

I have two manuals that I inherited from my dad. He was an apprentice at Commer in the mid-late 50s. Both are in excellent condition - I don't think they were used in the workshop as there aren't any oily fingerprints! There is also an Eaton Handbook covering the operation and maintenance of electric shift for 2 speed axles, but that is a little more battered (folded in half and cover and back page no longer attached to the rest of the leaflet).

I don't know if these are of interest, or use for that matter?!

Hi and welcome. Certainly don’t throw them out. Buy a Commer then you can use them

Hi Enid and thank you for posting. The two speed axle manual sounds like it covers one of the big trucks, which will be extremely useful to a couple of our members at least, and add to the valuable resource this site has become. Usually at the front of workshop manuals there are pictures of the vehicles covered by them, would it be possible to post a pic of them please.

I am more than happy for them to go to someone who wants them. No. 572 is 114pgs and No. 573 is 68pgs. They seem quite in depth but hopefully you guys can let me know! Any other information you need?
