Commer Wanted

you could pay over 3 grand, but you should still be prepared to do some work & maintainance otherwise you may be very disapointed.
If I had 2k I would go & see pixie especially as she is only down the road(not sure if she will sell).I would want to sort panels & rust out but a proper spray job could be done later...Rome wasn't built in a day.is that less than 30,000 miles on the clock.

Oh yes only 29000

Smurf has twice that at 40900!.... Just saddens me that Pixie will prob end up rotting away due to stubborness rather than being loveingly restored and cherished ....dare I say, it is not a vw and with the best will in the world it will not fetch the same premium! (very short sighted and deluded those vw types aren't they, commers are so much cooler)quite odd rerally that most vw owners want one because it is different and therefore cool!....erm[?] how many peeps asume that if you have an old camper it is a vw[?]...nowt diff about that .....because they is so common and everyday.....bit like a Primark T_shirt really!!

she has done a lot of work from what she says mechanic's & steering etc just run out of money to take it any further I think?I don't think it will sit & rot 'cos it is moted, before we know it we will all be kicking our selves 'cos she will be joining us at meets with her little one :)

Well so long as it gets some use, she has been trying to sell it for 3 years, hopefully she has been using it in that time, but as Enigma says the word stubborn does jump to mind and i am sure she has not been short of offers.

Well it is her van and she is free to do what she wants with it but it does hurt a little when there are so many willing to take it off her hands (at a fair price) and give that van the love and attention it so needs. When i think about it maybe she is not really ready to sell her van yet as it has been an awfully long time.

Lol at the Primark remark Enigma.

I have been a member since '07 was it advertised before then ? if so I didn't know else I probably would have bought it,Seems like a long time ago now but I was looking for a while too ;)before I got Ran I also got through a few rotten ones before I ended up with sybhil ;):I I think you are right she must be quite attatched it's a beauty [8D]

The coachbuilts are okay one you get some experience-ive started using ours as a daily driver-the boards easily fit in the back and you can get changed in/out of wetsuits easily and in privacy.Beats trying to get out of a dripping wetsuit and into dry clothes next to Ka on a clifftop in early december- trust me i know.

only problem its got is height as you have got to be careful where you park as more and more height goalposts are being fitted on carparks.Luckily I havent hit one yet
