why dont you offer him that blue mini bus that you have , wasnt it for sale a few months back[?] he may be interested.;)

I notice the picture is showing an "updated" pre '65 with the later grille - upside down !

ohhhhhh....I have two of these..

Single blinker buses.

But i kinda like them. Am having the 2nd one moved from Queensland to Sydney where i can play with it, ETA sunday the 18th.

Also have a white bus, but its got the double blinkers and the drive line is sitting next to it ! so kinda hard to move.

Now i am up to 11.1

The .1 is a chassis and roof, left overs from a resto cut out by a friend of mine. I think about it, he kinda does it !
 
Also have someone wanting minibus seats in New Zealand, any offers [?]

mate has this in his workshop , has all the seats for it too , solid as a rock underneath ! usual gutter rot though ! bought it without the v5 , when applied for it came back as permanently scrapped !!!!! , they wouldn't give him age related or q plate !
think he would be open to reasonable offers for parts /complete van !
 
Just out of curiosity, (no idea on these kind of things,) but is there no way of putting that Minibus back on the road? That is exactly what I'd like to have, side door with windows so I could have it for a family daily. What about having it put through an SVA test, or would it have to lose too much of it's identity to pass one?

classic commercial ins unless you pop a sink cooker rtc in then change its use to a camper,...bingo go fetch & don't they look good in white [8D]

I'm not worried too much on it's classification, if it could be put back on the road then I may well try and arrange a purchase of it.

It would make a nice basis for resto of the PO Postbus. The shell is shot on that one :p

i'm not sure , ive tried to get him to state a price but he keeps changing the subject !
he just says he's open to offers on it !
 
I'm calling in to the local DVLA office today, that minibus is exactly what I'd like and providing your friend doesn't have delusions of it being worth thousands like a darksider, it may be worth the hassle of putting back on the road. (Yes I know I was saying only last night that I need to get a road car first, but I'm working on it.)

don't think he's delusional , but i can't gaurentee that ![:eek:)]
he's a reasonable guy , just finds it hard to make decisions![V]
hopefuly he will hear from dvla in next few days,weeks,months (delete as applicable)
