Commer Van Grills and Rubbers

Hi all, new to the site! We've just got a '68 Panel Van that is solid, but a little rough around the edges. We need the bottom grill (ours is missing the surround). We also need window rubber seals (especially the 1/4 light windowns). Any help gratefully received. Once completed the van will deliver beer from our microbrewery in South London to the thirsty masses! Cheers all.

Hi and welcome to the Madhouse
You should be able to get most of what you need from Martin Maltas at commervanspares - if you are very lucky he might have some quarter light seals left but he had to have a batch specially made and they went pretty quick. The grille surround is another rare piece that you will have to search for but the do come up now and again. Good luck with your project - and it's the law that you post some pics for us to see

If Martin doesn't have the surrounds, I've a grill and surround set available but sadly not the pair of corners.
The only surround corners that I have for my van are pitted but they're on my list to try to make some new ones in polished stainless steel at some point.

Thanks all for the replies.... I will get some photos together and post. Martin Maltas has already been very helpful (we've welded a new roof on and floor panels inside), he is supplying all the rubber seals he can (quarter lights not available).

Yes, the PB surround is in two pieces held on with clips and also secured with the rocking-horse-poo' corner jobs.

I've got another set which which I've just sold and will post you a pic shortly to help illustrate
