Commer running rough and stalling

Hi All
We are the proud owners of a 72 commer van (1725).
We haven't had in that long and we live in QLD Australia where it gets hot.
The van has an auto and it starts to stall when stopping at lights . To keep it going we need to put it in neutral.
It always hesitates and splutters when moving away.
When it gets real hot it wont restart at all unless it cools for 15 mins.
It has an electronic dizzie and I run coolant.
Im going to address the heating issue by reconditioning the radiator.
Im after some help with the carbie.
It has a weber 34 ICH (7-350).
I am after the correct jetting/ settings for this type of carb if anybody is using one.
Regards
Mark

Have you checked the slow runnng jet is not blocked? Also is there an insulating gasket between the carb and manifold?

Missing insulator gasket will be causing some problems, the carb will be heating up causing the fuel to evaporate.slow running jet is a big brass screw on the drivers side of the carb.

Hi, happy New Year and welcome to the Madhouse:)
Sound advise from Martin, follow it and you won't go far wrong.

Hi. I have cleaned the brass idle jet. Looks like a spacer is fitted. Photo attached. Also a photo of fuel line routing and carb.

Has cleaning the jet improved things at all? Try running the fuel line from the pump in front of the radiator so it sits in cooler air. Sometines this helps with fuel vaporisation. Also re-position the fuel filter as where it is sitting it will get hot adding to the hot starting issues.

Howdy Maxter, it looks like you have TWO insulator blocks under that Weber.
Just a thought, have you checked out the ignition spark strength when hot verses when cold?
