Commer resto cafe and Commer search

Evening all...went to my Grans 85th birthday today and got chatting to her and my grandads ex mechanic friend who is Commer PB crazy and knows em inside out. So one thing he mentioned is a cafe in Hepworth area called http://thecardingshed.co.uk/ apparently loads of retro stuff and eat your food surrounded by classics ...looks cool. Anyway apparently they are restoring a PB at moment and putting in a v6 Essex so hoping to pop along there.

He also owned a 1974 Suntor Major until 20 years ago and and went everywhere in it, sold it for £1400 and was pristine then, I've checked DVLA but doesn't looked taxed anymore, not a good sign. I said I'd ask on here if on the off chance it is around, was green and cream reg OFJ 149T be amazing if someone did know it's whereabouts.

Thanks

Jim

Thanks for the information Jim, I think that it will have to go down as a must to see, in the new year with a look around Holmfirth
at the same time, it could be a great day.

Thanks Jim, it's great that there is somewhere you can enjoy some good food surrounded by the classic we all love. I recently went to a BBQ(was a bit cold but the fire helped) and I got chatting to a guy that used to own a dodge space van, it was interesting talking yo someone who had owned one in the 70's.
