Personally I'd be looking to graft a suitable caravan body onto it to create a campervan. Then uprate the engine/gearbox to a modern turbo-diesel and 5 speed. That would enable me to A-frame my Imp to the various Imp Club events, and of course, Commer events :)

I can see your point, but the special thing about this one is that it actually is a commercial variant. Even if the box has been removed, it's still a commercial chassis version in its original form. And as we all know, there really aren't many commercials around of this model. There must be at least 50 campers for every commercial vehicle in existence (unlike 20/30 years ago, when it probably was the other way round... :)) And they aren't that plentiful as campers anyway.

But of course, all this is easy for me to say, as I've got camper(s) already.. :I

Good luck with it in any case, whether you decide to sell it or to keep it.

I'm with you on this one Jostein - it's really too rare to muck about with. But then again it's not mine, so it's not my business to interfere!!

I'd make a removable rear end - like the Corgi set - a canopy pick-up first :p
