commer pb campervan

Hi David,
Yes I'd love to see some more photos if that's possible - still interested in the sale (you mentioned about putting it on the ferry, how would that work - I assume you'd put it on your side and I'd pick it up thus end?)
Cheers
Richard

[V]Wow that looks absolutely terrible and I wouldn't even feed it to the dogs, but they shouldn't be allowed to call it bacon when it most certainly isn't.

Looks good Jim, it's alright lulu my dogs like beef not vegetarian bacon.

The difference is lulu its not really bacon as it doesn't come from a dead animal, it's just an alternative to meat.

Hi David, yes very interested. Don't know if you have any pictures of the seating / seatbelt layout. Also think hammock brackets are mentioned, does it have hammocks as well? Anyone know about re-registering in the UK?
Thanks, Damon

I had a vegan doing some work for me at one time and he wouldn't have anything from an animal, no meat, no milk, no eggs, no fish, he wouldn't even wear leather shoe's. I asked him what he lived on and he told me it was called tofu and it was lovely. He fetched me some to try and I don't think I've ever tasted anything as bad.:([V]

Had terrible weather for days, finally found a dry spot to make some photo's will add them with a few minutes to the cars thread in the rides section.

As most of the people that are willing to buy the van are situated in the UK, I'll contact the RDW (Dutch DVLA) today about exporting the vehicle and driving it in the UK.

from what I understand David you can drive on foreign plates for 6 months in the UK - you simply insure on the VIN number.

In the mean time you can then MOT and then re register. As it is a UK vehicle originally it will be very straight forward to get the UK plate back on it.

Of course this is relevant to UK buyer. You the seller may well have to sort documentation out your end to end it's stay.

Was away for the week.

The van:
+points
No rot annywhere
Old dash
Petrol engine, od box
Sleeps 5
Alloy tank
SU conversion ( not yet fitted).
Alternator conversion
interior removed cleaned and refitted
rear 1/2 bottom end cleaned and derusted.
new rear brakes
new tyres
wider wheels
original bill of sale
etc.

- points
the van is hand painted ( looks nice though)
Small bit of rust on the underside of the doors
Overdrive sometime slips a bit ( was planning to have a 6 speed conversion)

One of the major issues is that I have never drivven it further than 60 miles... never done a long trip in it. Other problem is that I have quite a few people that want to buy it....

hate to say it but maybe ebay is the only answer... or you could do a blind tender if you wanted to have some fun.

Thanks for the new information and the update on the sale David. At least your problem of having too many buyers is a good one to have.
I'm keen to know how you'll proceed.
Good luck with the sale.
Richard
