Hi, I am new on here, not owned a commer before as I have always had vw's and h vans, going to see this on the weekend.

Yes I think commers are way cooler, trying to find one is hard though! where did you get yours?

it came off ebay it took me 4 months to find but this site is great if this lot haven't seen it its not there to be seen what part of the country are you in there's one up near Newcastle that was in back of shot when he was selling a hillman but check here every day theres been some real nice members vans come up at good money you get far more van for your money than you do with vws and they drive better
 
4 months ey! I am in Bath/Bristol and have not found any down this way at the moment, prices seem to vary quite a bit! I will try post the pictures of this one I am meant to look at on Sunday and see what you think, I might leave it though as I really want an auto sleeper or tin top if possible.

its worth the wait and they are still out there at good money there's been some nice ones. there was one went for less than a grand on ebay buy it now ,it was a van known to a member and he said it was a good van, you may have to travel for one mine came from Liverpool and it was 120 miles each way but Iv got a solid 1968 van with MOT and it came in at less than £2000 including pick up you just will not get a Vw camper of that age and this condition for that money and they just aren't as obverse as the hole over priced vws, commers just cool without trying to hard

i went into a letting agency yesterday to collect some keys for a delivery, got talking to the guy in there and he was asking about my mopar jacket which got around to me telling him about my van and it turned out it was none other than spaceman:) small world:D next time alistair give me somewhere with not such awkward stairs:p:D

Yeah small world! not many people wearing mopar jackets! stairs will keep you fit ! thanks for the comments on n the h van, sold it a couple of weeks ago ;-( I am torn at the moment as I am trying to save for house but really want a commer, any luck with the sale of yours fontaine?

You can go on holiday in a Commer and it's cheaper than a house - at the moment:I
Once you've got your Commer you can choose a house to suit it - dirty big shed in the garden would be nice[8D]
