Spare a Commer Guv?
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

well, the engine is a 1725cc which runs quite well for being stood 7 years(39,000 original miles) also have a spare engine to try which i'm told ran lovely-again not been run up for 6yrs. i do want the engine to look as good as i intend the outside to look.

Evenin' Matt and welcome to the madhouse:D
All the things you plan are straight foward enough, just big and heavy so I hope you've got plenty of room in your garage. We're here to offer advice good and bad (usually bad in my case:I) to help to on your way. All we ask is to keep us posted on progress with lots of PICS:p:p
And buy the beer at your first meet to show your appreciation;)

You need to first of all upload them to a photo host site like photobucket for example, once you have done that then hovver the mouse over the pic you want to post and 4 little boxes will appear click on the 4th one down and click to copy, then just paste into your posting...clear as mud lol:D

Welcome to the forum.

Looks like you have an honest van there, nothing that we haven't seen fixed by others. Interesting to see those galvanised panels covering the original flutes and the peak looks to be sound.

I wonder where those side windows came from, Bedford CA perhaps? Never seen anything like it on a Commer.

What are your plans, to maintain it as a camper, or to restore it back to a panel van? Whatever your plans, good luck with it and I'm sure you will get all the help and assistance you need from the mad fools you will find on here. :D
