I have had a look at this one... I noticed it had been sat untaxed/unused on the main road to Truro about 12 months ago. Enquired (politely) if it was for sale.

Only my opinion... but I didn't think it was in such good condition as the photo's now suggest.. just my opinion, please don't go mad on me!!

It's difficult to tell from pics, maybe not perfect but very nice - and because of the rarity of the 'crossover' conversion well worth a look. It's the same with any classic - buyer beware if you don't check it out before you bid.
I must admit I've been sorely tempted but to far away:I

Oh yeah, blimey, it's a nice thing. But like I said, didn't seem as nice at the time. But hey...?? Like u said Panks, always better to view first.

At the time when we were building the house we had about 2 people a week thinking that my camper was a barn find. It has all ways been taxed (dont need to put it window if its not on the road)
it probably looked different before we had a driveway, and some its soft furnishings in storage. and being used as a temporarily office. but the camper is still very unique and the floor pan and underside are like no other camper I have ever seen. this is because before I moved house to here it was kept for the last 40ish years in the dry. and this is one of the reasons to sell it as I haven't yet built the garage for it. and I dont want to see it degrade.
hopefully we weren't too harsh with you but after the first 20 people we got a bit short as we love Joe and didn't want to lose him, but reality is that I cant keep him.
now I was selling him you could have come and view Joe properly. We have had a steady stream of people this week, going for rides looking at the history and I wish I had a camper for every one as they were all nice people and I have really enjoyed telling them the stories.
I have pointed them all to this forum, so expect some new interested members!!!

You got a good price for a unique and lovely van, a new benchmark has been set - good luck to you. I'm sure the new owner will be delighted (oooooh I was tempted)- any clues as to who it is:p
