Commer Motorhome on Ebay

anyone has an idea of the width of the rear door of this conversion?

Interesting rear shape. Not exactly what we would call aerodynamic :p

600mm wide. Ci conversion, very roomy, largest bed I've had in a Commer.
5 berth with toilet compartment. Rear body doesn't rot as bad as Highwayman's.
They do catch the wind a bit, we struggled going up to Moffatt in a gale[B)]

My favourite Commer Coachbuilt conversion.
Martin is right about the wind impeding your progress though, I struggled to get 40mph! against a very strong headwind in the same CI Martin now owns.
This particular CI was also one of mine a few years back, it still has my trademark rear panels and door covering. This was a very good driving van, the steering was a bit vauge though, it had been very well maintained mechanically but was starting to show its age on the cab body, it certainly needs the doors rebuilding or ideally replacing and as the seller says the front valance is shot, if I remember rightly the roof peak was ok but that was quite a long time ago now and it may well need attention now. A good straight forward project....subject to seeing it! ;)

Bloody Commer`s!
