Purchased the commer maidstone that failed to sell a few times. Just thought its tax excempt , rarish and a diesel ( have this crazy idea to run it on part cooking oil)also i love the three original front seats and having just had our first baby i had dreams of taking wife and kid away in it. I originally thought it was a silly idea to take on such an expensive commer but i did think i'd regret not going for it later so i went for it. Once woolfys sorted it , i will have to decide on what to do with painting it. Having looked at the commer first at woolfys i was amazed at the quality work he does there. Hugely envious of anyone who can work miracles with vehicle bodywork. Feel the uk are gradually losing skills like this bit by bit which is a shame. Anyway i will probably just paint match as its a rare one. Though i originally was going to get a guy i know whos into graffiti art to paint something period onto a vehicle. Maybe if it was a late 60's or an early 70's one i would have.Seems alot of you call your vans names ,ive never done this but im thinking bertha ? or maybe cliff as cliff richard was number one when it was first registered.
