At last a dry day and the cab area of the Jennings is finished.
I went with the green in the end and it does look good.

Im pleased with it especially as its done outdoors:D
Just the offside coachbuilt and roof section to do now.
I have bought all new lights to go on the front and still need to get headlight rims and gaskets but its all coming together very nicely.
I hope this inspires others who have`nt got spray booths and deep pockets to have a go at there own vans. This was never going to be a Martin or Woolfy quality respray but a good paint job done easily and cheaply.quote:

What type of spray gun do you use? I've been tempted by the idea of a high volume low pressure set-up.

It will look a little flatter tomorrow when the thinners has all evaporated from the paint but it can be flatted and polished to a mirror finish in a week or so....if I can be arsed:D:D:Dquote:

I use a DeVilbiss gun which is quite high air volume and does require a 14cfm compressor, but I have achieved similar results using an electric low pressure constant feed gun.quote:
