got some bad news...you missed a bit...ahha your stickers arrived?

The pics flatter it a bit but it is nice and it was all done in the garden! just the roof to do now and some tidying up of the door shuts then its back to the interior and relining the toilet and wardrobes.
No stickers yet:(quote:

Stunning ! A great colour, and looks great with the white stripe and front bumper. Congratulations, that is a lovely result. :p

She`s a beauty mate, do you still have her[?] I ask because I`ve the same model just a couple of years older. Am looking to recommission her after 2 years of being neglected:I due to a broken manifold. Sure I read somewhere that they originally came with gas lighting, am after any info on the original specification.

Thanks, Guy.

Hi Guy, I never suspected you where another Jennings owner, I would say welcome to the sub-division but you've been in there longer than me;)

Another beauty:) Looks near identical to Wilma but a whole heap tidier:I Ours is missing the locking water flap and thanks to some kind scrote the water cap as well[:(!] Its going to be a long referb as money is tight but me best chum is a welder so that will help out. On the plus side I` ve got the main exhaust system and fuel tank already. Top forum:)

Bonnie is in the middle of a re-furb, most of the welding is done just the front valance and door bottoms to sort out. I fear the worst for the exhaust manifold as well, it's blowing like crazy - just hope it's not cracked:I
I nearly lost the fuel filler flap the first time I was reversing the van of the drive, I caught the raised lock on the gate and snapped the hinge bolts[V] Luckily that was the only damage.
Would love to see the two of them get together at Pandy[8D]

Great to hear about another Jennings, Guy! I'm more on the "budget variant" myself (Bluebird's Highwayman conversion rather than the posh Jennings camper), but the gas lighting is still there in mine (I've got two vehicles). I haven't got the gas system in operation yet on any of my vans, but can supply photos of the lamps I've got. I'm sure Panky or Beachboy can provide more accurate info on the gas lighting layout in the Jennings, but drop me a PM if you'd like photos of the Highwayman arrangement. The Highwayman has one gas lamp only, put in the rear corner above the sink and cooker. It looks very cute, and yes, I will get it working one of these days :)
