Commer in Whitstable

Hi went to tesco express tonight just pulling away and spotted a coachbuilt commer doing a 3 point turn so i did same and followed it to Whitstable harbour and had a chat with the owner, he got it on ebay about a month ago, I told him about the forum so hope to hear from him, it lives near Maidstone. Nick

hi,yes iv joined the mad Commer club, there are 3 of us, me Rob my wife(Sophie) and our son Monty, Got a few pics but not sure how to upload them, they are already on my computer, got loads of questions but will bore you all with them another day.
 
Hi everyone, Iv got a few questions if there is anyone who can help would be great, On our way back from the coast our skylight decided to take a trip of its own! Its very fragile plastic and shattered into a hundred pieces! Dose anyone know where i can find a new or replacement one. thanks The other thing we discovered is our van likes to starve itself of petrol for some reason at the most annoying times, ie on the motorway! could this be the fuel tank problem iv heard other people having?
 
it certainly sounds familiar [:(!] check your fuel pump filter for debris

Good luck with the fuel thing, have been one of the recent afflicted - had to get tank off and clean through to sort out junk in system.

A long shot but will ask friends with their highwayman if they have a spare skylight tucked away - probably unlikely though[V], and think I may have seen a couple of different versions for highwayman

Once you get pics sorted - maybe one of skylight may help in case similar type to older caravans
