Commer gearbox top selector modding

I've got my hands on a NOS Commer gearbox top selector which has what appears to be a threaded hole for the overdrive inhibitor.

Before I get it fitted to our O/D gearbox, has anybody managed to mod this item to provide fitment for a reverse lamp switch ?

Ther should be another threaded hole on the other side specifically for that purpose.

Thanks Panky, looks like there's space for it but only have a hole on 1 side - which might even be for the reverse light and I need to make an overdrive hole (rather than vice-versa)

Either way, its seems a straightforward mod. (assuming hole centres are identical on either side)

The one on the right is the OD inhibitor switch
