Commer Dormobiles? Interior question

I've trawled through old posts but I can only find one other dormobile called "duke". I think there is a seat missing from the back of my van and also there are other bits like the rock and roll bed which I think also isn't original. The interior on my van is looking very tired, bits of laminate have broken off and all the surfaces are really scratched and look old. I want to improve the interior by keeping the same style cupboards and beds / seats but I would love to see another commer dormobile that is in a better condition than mine just so I can get an idea of what it should look like.
 
These are the only pictures I can find. I'd just like to see how the seat at the front folds down? Also the original mechanism of the rock and roll bed as at present mine is held up with two bits of 2x4 wood. In the picture there appears to be a panel under the bench?

I found this in Martin Watts' excellent book Classic Camper Vans - The Inside Story - hopefully you don't mind me reproducing it here Martin.

There seems to be an extra big cushion that must be supported on the table top and a random square one to make up the bed, these must have been stored either behind the cab seats or behind the rear bench. It's not really a rock and roll bed more of a shuffle the cushions one but it's a HUGE bed[8D]

Yeah I get that. You see that bit at front of the bed behind the seats which looks like a small cushion and a big cushion? That's the one I'm missing. I want to see another commer dormobile so I can take some measurements of the seat and hopefully get it reproduced. There is a guy who lives near me who makes random metal sculptures and I reckon he could make me a frame then all I have to do would be to get it foamed and trimmed, which won't be a problem as I'm re-doing the rear seats eventually anyway. Then all I need to do is find a similar white edging strip for the cupboards and some similar handles, some of which can be re-used others though are sadly beyond repair. I'm going to strip the cupboards down to bare wood and then re-cover them in formica of a similar appearance as present - less the scratches...
 
I found this place on a VW forum they sell reproduction handles and edging strip for dormobile conversions. So cool I love a bit of renovation.

Was Deb's (from Devon) van a Dormobile [?] Although I can't remember who got it.

Also Dormobile said they would make me a special child's bunk to go over the seats so that it becomes a 5 berth. This will allow me to take both my nephews and my son camping with me and the Mrs :)

Hi Hubbell, i am Duke's previous owner and have extensive pics if you want any. ;) let's not forget Swampster's van too. And Baldy's van ;)
 
Duke was red & white when Scott (bush pig) owned him ...the new owner had him painted ...so I'd recommend asking Scott for some pics;) ....Don't forget the PM system doesn't work so you need to swap email addys;)
