I don't know this conversion, but I know a man that might :) I'm sure Martin Watts will be along soon, to enlighten us.

Has me stumped as well Martin M[?]I'm not convinced that it is a recognised 'factory' conversion at all; it has the appearance of a very good home-build.Which would tie in with the query about the DODGE letters on a Commer. I think that the Dodge letters were first used on the Commer front panel from 1976, but I have never seen one this late. Perhaps it took someone 3/4 years to build:D

I started with nothing.....and I still have most of it!

It's possible that it started life in the Channel Islands, IOM etc and was then re-imported to the UK in 1980 when it would have been registered with the current reg plate instead of an age related one as happens now. The chassis number will let you know.
