Commer cushion covers

I have a tired set of flowery seat cushions which came with the van and am hoping to redo them in something either authentic or in the spirit of commer originals. I was curious to know what range of things came fitted in campers to get an idea of what to go for. I have one genuine cover left from my previous van which is a dark gold velour which I like, but isn't easy to find fabric similar as not the height of fashion at the moment!
Does anyone have pics of commer covers to give me an idea of range? - might make a useful database of sorts for future projects.
Below are gold commer cover and flowery one I have now but doesn't seem like original. Both have coffee colour vinyl bottom panels

Any advice gratefully received as hoping to do good authentic interior if I can

Thanks Chris, that is very helpful - particularly like Rans' velour and vinyl. Both brilliant to give ideas of what is contemporary.

As far as I know the curtains for autosleepers were designs by a company called Sanderson but don't know about seats.

I can hear Lloyd Grosmans' voice "who lives in a commer like this?...."[8D]

I think the ones in no1 are original, but I think rans have been replaced,& I don't have any idea what the donor was I have a feeling not commer?

Yori has the same options as yours studio!

However Minky will be putting a stop to all that as soon as her fabric is ordered

Were in the process of updating Chloe's interior as she came with nice green paisly effect cushions and pelmet and a yellowy cream curtain set. We've gone for a very 70's Chocolate brown cushion and english cream curtain combo, which not only looks period, but just so happens to be the height of fashion now!

No pics as of yet as the seat covers are still being made - I wouldn't want to spoil the finished look...

ooh - you tease![:0] thanks for that- chocolate and cream sounds good too - Great Western Railway colours. Was it your Chloe that appeared on ebay a while back? didn't half look tempting.

Quite glad 70s' are making a comeback as improves availability of contemporary stuff.

Thanks to all for ideas so far, much appreciated.:)

Yup, we bought Chloe off the 'bay just over a year ago.

We drove 200 miles to go and see her and negotiated a price, gave a deposit and drove the 200 miles home again. When we got back I checked ebay to make sure the vendor had removed her, but she was still on and even though there was a good 5 days left the price had shot up to £800ish over what we had agreed on [:0]

Rang the lad and he said it didn't matter, he'd honour the price we settled on as he knew we'd look after her.

Picked her up the next weekend - job done! :D

Back on topic, here the 'original' added in the late 90's interior

Check out the mad green paisley affair thats going on, working so well with the yellow curtains...

You can also see in this pic the new brown pelmet and how well it works against the white interior panels

the word for the paisley is 'natty' I think:)

Looks great, had wood pelmets in both vans - one in current van just thin ply but still have shaped timber ones from first van - all woodwork had been treated with bright red fence paint stain stuff so am keeping as back up 'cos will take ages to strip down[xx(]

Having one of those 'is it really a year ago' moments about Chloe on Ebay - scary[:0]

if your looking for colour sceams from the seventys just check out martin and pankys tank tops and suits at the next meet up you wont go wrong then.:p[}:)]
