Commer Cob or Hillman Husky

I'm looking for a Cob or Husky. No real concerns over condition or colour etc but nothing too bad. If anyone knows of any I'd appreciate it.

Cheers,

Tim

Probably a bit more than you want to pay:I

A bit pricey again but if you can stand the interior the engine transplant sounds effective:)

Thanks again Panky. I've sent off a couple of messages but of the three I like the Cob best as it looks the most honest and solid looking and is also the better priced. I'm happy to wait until the rainy season for the right van/car, though so will jst keep my eyes open. Thanks again.

The Cob has been on there for ages, maybe a bit of negotiation will pay off;)

They are not standard on the husky, Huskys used to have the same hubcaps as the Commer, so these must be aftermarket ones and still available.

Moley and Brian the Snail :)

Thanks again Panky. That one looks nice and its not too far for me so I am trying to arrange a time to see it. I went and viewed the Cob last weekend and will be talking to the owner about it when he returns from a trip away next month. Cheers again. Tim

Hi Chris

Many thanks for your efforts on my behalf. My contact details are: [email protected] or 07761554250. I am off camping in Duke until Tuesday but can pick up calls and e-mails on my phone.

I guess the bottom line with regards to a Cob or Huskey is price (as ever) and practicality. The Cob I looked at had a pop up bench seat in the rear so my children could squish in and i like the idea of driving a van but the Huskey looked great! If its a project that's good so long as its viable, if you get me. I'm more than happy to deal with the person directly or through you whichever suits you best.

Very excited though!

All the very best and thanks again,

Tim
