COMMER AUTOSLEEPER FOR SALE £3500
I AM VERY REGRETTABLY LETTING GO OF CHRISTINE ....we are relocating and unfortunately there won't be enough bedrooms for her... Shes a 73 manufactured 74 regd PB Autosleeper. 60k on clock (genuine) lots of paperwork, MOTs, I am the 3rd owner from new but have not regd in my name when I've looked so it only had 1 according to logbook (thought I'd sent it off!!???)...
In general she is solid underneath, from the swage line up has been refurbed..., repainted, new gutters and rubbers, some panel etc and the roof does not leak... Shes a little scabby around the bottoms all the way round but door skins are the worst... In short, shes a very solid van with little needed to turn into a PROPER eye catcher..... Enginewise shes had a bit of work done, some of which I have done Inc big ends, crank and shells, water pump, electrics, fuel lines, plugs, HTs, points, coils and all the usual suspects.
She has however started to make a top end rattle which I pressume to be the little ends as I have set tappets twice to rule this out. She does run but tow away reccomended for long distance collection. Before the rattle I had her tuned professionally and she ran like a dream....she's got over drive in 3rd and 4th too.
In with the sale I also have a spare engine (not running, alloy head and sump) and a 2ton engine crane...
There is alot more and the list could go on forever but phone call and viewing welcome and will not disappoint...
I also have the missing grille and COMMER letters off the front along with front and rear bumpers, some other panels and spare parts and original plates, cups and bowls.
The last owner kept a log of all work done, fully detailed along with pictures so you have alot of history and proof of the cars past.
