Hi i have a 1975 commer ambulance [pit] Has anyone else got one or seen one?
its full head height similar to a commer adrian 2 big back doors,side door,three black windows on each side ,2 on back doors and is dark blue like a prison van.
Its under repair at minute.
Its from my local pit,it went to the colliery band to transport there equipment,managed to buy it for £400.
Havent come across any pictures or heard of another one.
Will e mail pics if anyone wants to look.

sounds like the one i remember being at my dads pit,they used to use it to transport his rescue team,the dark blue being the national coal board colour with ncb on the sides in yellow

Hi bit late this .I will post pictures intrested if anymore exist .
Its had lots of welding ,more to do ,pictures to follow.
