Commer 2, Nullarbor 0

We made it,:D Arrived in Norseman WA today, broke the trip into 3 days this time, took us 4 last time. We covered 520klm on day 1, 390klm day 2 then forced to stop due to rare storm with strong head winds and heavy rain, so pulled into bush and camped at midday.
Then 475klm on day 3.

Apart from occasional wildlife there is not much to see, but you always see something unusual on the Nullarbor.

The owners of these vehicles chose to fly and have their cars trucked over. bummer.[xx(]

Abandoned and crashed vehicles are a common sight and this car carrier was hard to miss. The wreckage will sit on the road for 1 to 2 days.
We passed recovery trucks on their way from Perth next day.

These two brave seniors are running around Australia[:0] to raise money for cancer research.

We are now making our way to visit family around southern WA, Mandurah first 750klm away. So still a few weeks of touring before getting back to the real world[8)].

I will post more pics of the Nullarbor on our blog in a few days.
