Hi All, My grandparents are the proud owners of a Commer Series 2 1965 holiday home. Unfortunately my grandad died a couple of years back and my grandma has serious dementia. This van is in impeccable condition given its age and has been in their garage under cover for as long as I can remember really.
The van still drives as my sister used it for her wedding car 5 years ago so there was some restoration done. All body work and furniture inside is original as is the engine.
My dad is intrigued to know the value of the van and there is very little info online for this van. My family have been part of the caravan club for years and my Grandad was president of the club before he passed. Any help in a rough value would be much appreciated. IMG_3051.jpegIMG_3049.jpeg

Looks concourse from the pictures; any rust underneath or leaks in the body? certainly 5 figures worth

Agreed but appearances can be deceptive. To back up our opinion the chassis and under body, engine and structure of the camper body frame needs to be taken into consideration. Are there any signs of damp in the interior, any issues with the areas underneath?
It looks a lovely van and if it's as good as it looks then it could be one of the best around

That is lovely looking van. Can’t comment on the value in any detail but it must be substantial if the mechanics and structure are good.
