Coming soon

Coming soon to a SKY box near you!!! A rose amongst thorns !!

While I was at the Battlesbridge classic show in Essex last sunday week a fella was taking a particular interest in my van. It turns out he runs firm restoring darksiders and asked me if i'd be interested in taking part in a program about campers.
I thought this might be an opportunity to get Commers a bit of media time, so today I have been to the guy's unit to do the filming with a bloke from Sky. This chap had never heard of Commers or television detector vehicles or even Hillman Imps, there again I suppose he was about 21[xx(]. Anyway he did an interview with darksider man and filmed his vehicles(he also hired out VW campers) then moved on to me and JGL, he was very impressed with the amount of space in a Commer compared to a darksider and loved the layout of the Autosleeper.
So If you would like to see me making an a*se of myself :I, the Program is estimated to be aired on a Friday in 3 - 4 weeks time on the motorhome show on SKY 212 [^]

woohoo. Nice one!!

I wouldn`t hold your breath though.
I was filmed with my teardrop trailer last year as part of a series about caravanners in Wales. (Wales on Wheels)
Turns out that after driving all the way to Hay-on-Wye from West Yorks for the weekends filming they cut it down to about 45 seconds of the commentator taking the pi££ out of the whole teardrop scene.

I sorted my garage into 4 piles of stuff.
1. Stuff I`m keeping
2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.

Thanks for your kind comments peeps:p but as Paul says you never know what exactly they will show until it's shown, sometimes full of false promises[B)]
