Clutching at straws

After taking Jessica for a test drive, I think she has a clutch problem (overdrive works well though!). There isn't enough movement in the clutch I think. Anyone got any ideas what this is before I rip it all to bits (and maybe drop a match on her...) The clutch plates and release bearing are newish (5000 miles). I presume it can only be the master or slave cylinder or needing a bleed as there isn't any adjustment.

I want to get the clutch working before I look into the jumping out of 3rd:(

It sounds like a bleeding job :I Did you change anything else when you had the box out (besides fitting an overdrive :I)

Is everything Commer[?] ie. clutch, fork thrust, belhousing. Also, might sound daft, but did you put the slave cylinder on the rear of the gearbox flange. If you put it on the front, you lose 1/2" of travel. I know, because I have done it :I
 
I never liked the small amount of movement or feel of the clutch or the poor design positioning of the master picking up all road debris. So I moved the master inside, used a Triumph one with a bigger bore cylinder & bigger bore delivery pipe.
Or more simply you could try elongating or using alternative longer slave pushrod
