Clutch cylinder location?

Hi All, on the homeward stretch with mechanical side on ambulance, just would like to check that the clutch cylinder is bolted to right side of bellhousing?

I have attached it as in picture, but having second thoughts on whether or not it's on the correct side, aswell as that I am unsure about if there should of been a return spring fitted on there, to pull clutch arm back as there wasn't a cylinder fitted at all when I bought it to when i bought it to compare with.

Looks good to me. If its on the other side of the flange it will pop the piston out. My old one didn't have a spring either.

As above - that’s the correct side and no spring needed

Hi Mr P, yes this happened while bleeding the clutch system the piston came out, anybody know the reason why?
I don't know if it is the right push rod found in ambulance while cleaning the rubbish out.

Pretty sure there should be a circlip in the end of the slave cylinder bore to stop that happening.

It might be an optical illusion but it looks like the the pipe going onto the cylinder is at an angle and possibly kinked, is it seated fully?
