Saw this post on Facebook asking for club applications for the NEC.
Know a club stand isn’t guaranteed but wondered if I should apply on behalf of the club and get a mix of vans?
Don’t know if I’m stepping on toes, so if I am and it’s already sorted please excuse my ignorance

We've had stands there in the past and they were extremely successful, but they where a lot of work to organise. Martin Maltas and John Green sorted them out at the time and did fantastic jobs, it all depends if you are willing to commit to the process involved. I'm sure there will be many owners willing to show their vans, and quite a few willing to help with organising, so no you won't be stepping on any toes as far as I'm concerned.

...well I’ll apply and see firstly if we get accepted and can then take it from there
 
Thanks! Yes always pleased if its possible - not sure where the "club" banners are at the moment? And I believe we had a whip round for Public Liability Insurance the last times too? Martin may well remember!
 
You can get individual third party liability insurance from the Midland Events Club, cost about £6 for the year but is only available for commercial vehicles (campers and caravans accepted too). We insisted on it when we ran the Tatton Park stand, hopefully it would be acceptable by the NEC.
 
Could be interesting. I've been invited to show mine on the NSVA stand but I havent committed to it. Tbh, I'd prefer mine on the Commer stand
