Karen and I, are proud to anounce our new venture in to the world of Commers. Classic camper hire, or more to the point, Commer camper hire :p
Rather than let them accumulate in our yard (Karen speaking), we are sending them out into the world to be used :)
Our initial fleet consists of;

Lucy
Everyone at the New Forest will remember her, an Ebor conversion that has a side door and no rear doors. As seen in CVP, March and April issues [8D]

Dolly
Dolly the Tourstar, that belonged to Paul Bird, from the Devon meet.
Beautifully equipped with polished wood interior and boasts a recyclable shower [:0]

Daisy
Daisy is a Clearway conversion, similar to the Carcamper in layout and the same conversion as the 'flamed' camper we have. We found her in Sale, Cheshire.

Although most of the forum members have their own campers, we may be able to encourage more people into the fold, by hireing for a week or weekend and rediscovering the joys of 'Commer Camping' [8D]

About time somebody reacted to what the public want[^] A brave and inspired enterprise. I'll book Dolly for next summer - usual forum discount applies of course, ten pounds a week all in:I

great idea Marting, enough people have done it with VW's how are you going to market the idea, and can we help ?
 
We are putting adverts in some classic mags, then attending as many show as possible. Word of mouth would help greatly ;)
 
I like the fleet colours too; great idea lets have a picture of them all lined up eh? :)
 
Just to officially wish Martin & Karen all the best with the ongoing quest to get them commers camping and inspiring some new owners :)

What a great enterprise - the best of luck.

Have you tried approaching some of the Sunday papers for a test run/review - just read yet another 'Holiday in a VW' piece last weekend, I reckon one of these and you'll be well away!
 
What a brilliant idea:D So much waxing lyrical about Darkside camping going on - we do it better and with more style and space [8D]
All we need now is a celebrity chef buying one any sticking an Aston Martin engine in it:p
