Chrome mirrors for a Highwayman

Pretty soon Percy will be getting his makeover so needs some new chrome mirrors to replace the horrid plastic ones.Need something sizeable though to see past the coachbuilt box at the back though.

Any ideas?

oooooh; have you got any in to see them offered up on a commer?

Just gotten around to fitting the swan neck mirror on this link and finding it hard if not impossible to tighten the grubs that end up in the channel

Any chance of advice/close up pics of how yours are clamped?

Im sorry John I dont have a pic with that one fitted. I took it off smartly as an unconsidered consequence is that at motorway speeds it produced an annoying whistle (I guess because it was not in the slipstream). Instead I fitted these mirrors instead now

uh oh I might have to accelerate through the noise then; bet I won't hear it over your cherry bombs anyway!

seriously though how did you tighten the clamp - I don't think I can get an allen key in the tiny gap between the pillar and where the windscreen surround comes out!

I dont remember it being tricky. Neither was it with the clamp on mirror now fitted which takes the same clamp.
I have found a pic, i did it as a clickable thumbnail as its rather big
