Complements of the season Everyone, hope you've all had a reasonable time over the festive period given the circumstances.
Sue and I decided if we couldn't spend time with families, that we would do something a bit different for Christmas day, so we agreed that dinner in Jigley by the sea would be nice. Instead of the usual fare, I cooked a big pot of beef stew and dumplings, which was easy to reheat on the limited cooking facilities in the van, loaded up everything we might need and off we went to Frinton on Sea, which those who attended my Essex meet might remember.
It's only 20 miles from us, so it was a nice little run out and the first time we have been out in the van this year other than to pick up building materials (well Jigley has to earn it's keep some how)
