Chris's new new new new ride

Yes I am on it Sam. found some fabric at the boses (he says I can steal it) will be better suited than the Indian stuff I used on The Colonel,got adhesive,just need to find some thin foam & a load of time.
The rear corners are so rusted that the holes have closed & where it's dripping in, is a hole in gutter that shouldn't be there. Both side windows need taking out & sealing too.I knew the gutters would need cleaning up glad I found these issues now not when interior done as it would easily been ruined.
 
So I get( make ) time to spend on the van.....every thing has to come out soaked so not sure If I should be posting here or on the For sale page,feeling very down about it & need a commer fix....in fact any van fix.
 
most odd Chris - do you think it is the back doors? Always lived under the car port here - but has camped in the rain with no ingress
 
All mopped up,both side windows need to come out seal & put back in,but need hot dry day or get under cover, wood may have to be replaced it's soaked,it's been so damp here,with wet fog & very heavy rain,rubber seal on back door is loose rain was gushing in had to remove the door cupboard,front screen leaks bad too,& the condensation has been terrible lots of pics just a struggle to upload here from my device.Will need to insulate the roof & reboard as I have taken down the white smooth hardboard. Alan kirtley has kindly offered me his expertise so that was nice gave me the hope to carry on today.obviously got to get it dryed out before replacing anything.
 
You could try the Crack Creak stuff I was on about the other day...run it into seams and seals, it's thinner than water and finds a way through and sets. Sailors swear by the stuff to fix leaking windows etc. at sea

Captain Tolleys is only really for those leaks that get through cracks and seals, it's too thin for a gap of any size, but it will help with some of your leaks I'm sure.
 
Then it rained I did a video as water made its way in.....So I can try some captain Tolley's on the actual aluminium window frames as sure enough I spied seepage! If that works great....If not I think I should go over spare windows that John kindly included, then swap em what you think?
