I've heard a whisper that it will not RAIN again tommorrow!!!! yeah right!!! believe that when I see it!! ...I'm sure just like me you must all be so fed up with the blooming rain!! ......I was spose to go start taking a gearbox out last Friday and apart from a few hours at the weekend (when i was busy doing something else) it has only just stopped raining about an hour ago and the sun has even been out[:0][:0][:0] ...I thought all this so called global warming meant we would have amazing summers and we would all be coated in factor 500 suncream???????????? Suuuuuurrrrrree!!

Hello, strangers 
(sorry, I'll correct that to me being the stranger..:I)
We're now a family of four, would you believe. Our brand spanking new son was born 10 days ago - in the back of the ambulance en route to the hospital! It was so quick that I needed a good hour to get back to my normal self. Anyway, all went well. Hector will be the name of the little chap. Big sister Vera (had her 3rd birthday on Tuesday this week) is well chuffed, and also driving her parents nuts.
All well over here. The Bluebird has - naturally - had less focus lately, but we took him out for a bit about a month ago. Purrs like a cat and seems happy And Vera loves it !

Has Vera had the 'terrible'2's yet? ...Oliver is now 6 and is going through a phase of testing us to the limits...I think he's terrible 2's are happening a little late!!! First of may I say congratulations Jostein to you and the missus on the birth of Hector, a good old fashioned name. I don't think I have seen any pictures of the Bluebird yet but no doubt if I look hard enough I will find some.To Colin I would like to ask what the hell are you doing up at this time, at your age you should have been tucked up in bed with your cup of cocoa a long time ago
Im generally up throughout the night, - a typical night for me consists of:
00:00 go to bed
01:00 get up to let the cat in miaowing at the back door because "I" forget to let her in - its her bloody cat not mine!
03:00 Floyd wants letting out for a wee
03:30 the up till now comatose Nipper wants a wee (he couldnt have bloody gone went Floyd wanted one half an hour ago)
04:00 Now I need a pee, should have had one at 03:00 or 03:30
04:30 next doors dog Barney the springer spaniel hears something outside and barks
04:30:01 - Floyd and Nipper scared they are missing out on something start barking to let Barney know they are there for him if whatever is in the garden turns out to be a 3 dog job
05:00 Floyd and Nipper hear something in the garden and start barking - Barney lets them know he is on standby for backup
05:45 Willy the Cockerel starts crowing
06:00 The cat starts wailing for her breakfast
06:45 The alarm goes off, I am more tired than when I went to bed - and grumpy for the rest of the day

Thanks, John. Yes, starting your life on four wheels must be a sure sign that proper four star flows in his veins
As for the "terrible 2s", Colin, then yes, I think we're there. I think the new arrival has triggered it. She has been a right handful the last week, no joke, but we'll get through it somehow. She's a lovely girl, really. We had a troublesome "getting to bed" procedure tonight, but I think she felt so sorry about it all in the end - because I was given the longest and most heartfelt hug ever before she drifted off to sleep. Really makes your heart melt
