Thanks, Col. Christmas was fine. Nice and quiet - or as quiet as you can hope for with a 2 1/2 old in the house.. The poor thing actually burnt her fingers on Christmas eve when we attended a Christmas eve service in the church across the road. She was high and low, and then - without us noticing it - touched the huge hot water pipes which run under every other row of benches. Must have been terribly painful, as it was impossible to get her comforted afterwards even though I rushed to the toilets with her in a flash to put her hand under running cold water. One of the blisters was twice the size of her index finger the next day. Now, eventually, the fingers look better and have started to heal.
The Bluebird was treated to one of these 12V - 230V inverters. Properly wrapped gift and all. Will be interesting to see how that works out in the van

Awww! poor little thing ....mine was ok thanks mate and defo an improvement on last year lol ......best present was having my family back home with me[8D]

I'm heading across the North Sea next weekend. An old dear friend of mine who relocated to NZ some 5/6 years ago is back in Blighty for Christmas, so I'm flying to London to meet up with him before he heads back to the southern hemisphere. Will do a little round trip as well, as I have to pick up a couple of bits while I'm over (including a gas heater for the Bluebird).
