John, the owner of the garage, spent well over an hour getting the emmisions right, he ended up taking the carb to bits and found the needle had slipped up into the slide. It does run a lot smoother now[^]

Thats great news,

I may have to borrow him, Frank is poorly the new fuel filter has not done the trick.

But Gladys has had a lovely day, lots of folks have called into theatre to say how lovely she is [^]

Congrats on the pass John....My van failed on lower ball joint which I replaced today along with the inner steering rack joint...I now have a service light and ABS light on the dash....any ideas????[?]

The only brush I've had with ABS problems was on a Citroen BX GTi, it came on intermittently then stayed on. It turned out to be one of the rear cables had kinked and the wires shorted out. I wonder if the ABS light on your van doubles up as a brake pad wear warning, worth a look.

Thanks John...I have a feeling I may of pinched the cable when I was putting it back together...I will check it out in the morning:D Pads are fine...

Yep I pinched the ABS cable...new one fitted and a years MOT now[8D]

Anyone need a man and van in Dorset or Hampshire call me lol:D
