Just caught up with this topic....EEEEEEWWWWW. I can understand wanting to rip it out though. Recently i had a MEGA toothache, first one on this scale. It woke me up in the night and it wouldnt let me sleep. I tried allsorts of ways to barrier the pain but it just lingered on into the morning. I ended up going to the N.H.S. walk in centre where they give you emergency treatment for £16. I was a bag of nerves but the pain was just too much to bare so i'm laying there on the bed with a big needle going into my gum after being told that the tooth is pretty much beyond repair and trying to get my head around the fact my tooth is about to be extractedSo she begins to pull at it and OOOOOUCH bloody thing wasn't fully numb yet so she injects more stuff in....4 times later she tries again.....OOOOOUCH....In the end she tells me that the infection has gone down into my jaw bone and that the needle cant get down that far to numb it....I'm thinking...'Your not taking my bleeding jaw bone out aswell HAHAHAHAA! Basicaly, i had the tooth taken out with little or no pain relief..It was sooooo painfull but i was just happy to have no pain anymore, plus it has made me less afraid on Dentists now. I wasn't that afraid before really but just failed to make an appointment for even a check up. My advice is don't leave it before it's too late like me. Luckily the tooth was a back one that i didn't really need. By the way, my tooth went from the first time i got a tiny bit of pain last year to pulled out so things really go quickly after you first notice them. If i had gone to a Dentist straight away i'd still be chomping food on it..Don't leave it guys and gals, none of us have baby teeth that we can afford to lose anymore HAHAHAHAHA!
