I thought the heavy weight commer/dodge was ratted at 2500 gvm ???
Just looking through some paper work for my pick up truck and it's got this on the log book??

what does it say on other people's regards gross vehicle weight?

There is no weight listed on our V5, but then it's classed as a historic vehicle, not a farmers truck. My transit weighs 3170kg so I reckon the commer must be lighter than a transit due to more strengthening being used for modern day safety standards, so I reckon your log book is incorrect.
 
I'm not saying it's correct lol I've got a few vans and broke a few but ive never seen a gvm on any one of the log books of campers, only on the commercial vans and pickups. I wonder if the farmer had it re plated we used to do this with the rac vans

Is this a new V5c ? That Tax class was scrapped in 1995!!!!
It was for agricutral vehicles under 3500kg been used to carry "goods" We had a short wheel base Landy with the same class and gvw.

Yeh it's a new one lol dvla won't change tax bracket to historic until you go for your tax disc with its fresh mot as it ain't been on the road since the 80s ;)
Still strange with the gvm?

The 3499kg was the "under 3500kg" bit to class it as light goods
Agricultural vehicles are road fund exempt anyway !

You would have thought dvla would have just swapped it over to historic vehicle thought when I applied for the new style log book?! Let's see what happens when I tax it soon ;)

Also, if it's classed as a van between 2 and 7.5tonne you are limited to 50mph on normal roads and 60 on dual carriageways.
