once again things kick off when I am trying to have a relaxing time

Woolfy has indicated that he will be closing the doors on Coventry Commer Panels almost entirely due to the recent comments here.

I have also had several messages with members unhappy at other member's behaviour and the general atmosphere it brings.

You all know that I believe firmly in freedom of speech and that everyone has the right to their opinion. But I would suggest that going forward we all only comment on goods and services of which we have direct experience - this way there are only two sides to the story and both parties get their say.

I was pleased to see olive branches being passed, I hope they work but there shouldn't be the need for them in the first place.

If you can't all play nice then you might find the ball gets taken away which is no fun for anyone
 
i would first of all like to say sorry to all the members to which our comments upset:( i have also been in touch with woolfy today and i wont go into detail but lets just say a lot of bridges has been repaired and hopefully woolfy will will carry on for the good of commers[8D] once again a big sorry to everyone:)

so can admin or a mod now delete unwanted post on lees thread and let everything get back to normal service please;)[?] i think we can all be trusted to play nicely now[^]

Sorry if I said anything out of order, I'm still really cross and upset, so for now I'm leaving, feel free to delete me if you like Admin...
Wish the forum could go back to the way it used to be.

I hope that Woolfy carries on contributing to this forum, as i for one like to see the work carried out by other members, which inspires and helps me keep my van on the road, this may sound selfish but without the help and advice given by people like Woolfy, Tim, Martin M, Panky and all the others that share their knowledge, members like me would`nt have a clue where to start and there would be less Commers on the road. We`re only a small group compered to the V.W. lot which have gazillions of members and theres always a local club to get help from, where as were all scattered over the country and we need everyone to pull together and help each other.
 
i also would like to apologise to everyone on the forum once again, for lowering the tone on the forum with some of the comments i also made in my deffence,i hope i have not put people off coming on here and promise to also keep my big mouth shut.[:0]:D however i will be making an announcment soon as to where i am at the moment and what dirrection i will be heading in with regards the break or closure from coventry commer panels.:(

Could it be that I have joined the wrong forum. I thought a forum was to have a laugh, sometimes at your own expense, BUT to help each other when the chips are down. A bit like going to a meet and having a few drinks together and making ridiculous claims about how your van can do 100 mph and still do 50 mpg and hows it's the best van of the lot. Come on lads, don't let me down. What I've seen so far you all seem fairly good people to me.
 
By the way perhaps my van may not be the best but I am still the best driver amongst you so there.

it was a bloody stupid overheated argument that should never of happened in the first place:I especially for all to see on the forum:( i can assure every member it will not happen again from me;) i have sent an email to admin and to chris who had to clear the childish behavior up and offered to be removed from the forum as thats how bad i feel[V] once again sorry to all:)

and i for one agree with colin and mark, it wont happen again from me either, as it just lowers the tone on the forum for everyone else.i have accepted colin and marks apologise and in return i have done sent the same to them to try and patch things up. im sorry if i offended anyone. now can we all get back to doing what we all know best and thats talking a load of old s--- about our commer vans,haha;):D[:X]

Look, I already apologised to everyone in an earlier thread but that has quite rightly been removed, I did say I wouldn't mention it again.

there has been quite a few discussions off forum (which is where they should of been in the first place):I

Without banging on for too long, us naughty boys have all agreed and apologised to each other and have all promised to get along and behave in future for our sakes but especially for everyone elses sake.

So, once more, a huge apology to everyone and especially all the newest members for making them wonder what on earth is going on and for putting any doubts in their heads about joining....

This really is a great forum and I have had some fantastic times at the meets....

Woolfy, don't close your doors mate, it would be a great loss to Commerkind...:(

I will not be mentioning any of this stuff again, not here or anywhere else on this forum......lets all just have a fresh start and let this lovely place be great again:D:D[8D][8D]

May I say thank you to everyone for holding the forum together, it's the second thing I look at when I come on the PC. Obviously I check my emails first to see how many gorgeous young ladies are throwing themselves at me, it's wonderful what the mention of a commer can do, and then it's check the forum. Colin you better get used to looking at the back of a commer because thats the most you will see of mine with my driving skills, yyyyyyyyyeeeeeeehhhhhhhhh
