Camper into pick up?

Perhaps this would be a suitable candidate for conversion to a pick-up:

Hmm I have recently spoken to a chap at dvla about changing the "body type" section on the V5 as I want to convert a 4 dr saloon car in to a pick up .

As long as the "body type" is a good likeness to the car and the seating arrangement is changed then its fine and I can do it all via post !

He said it was mainly used by the police so if it came back as a saloon and looked like something else they would pull me over.

He also said that I would have to take a car for a VIC check before I could scrap it !
