Buttercup's back home

AFter 14 months of waiting while Buttercup was staying at Ratsport while those nice people did some fairly serious metal surgery she is now back home.
I picked her up yesterday & drove back round the M25 stopping at Clackett's lane so people could admire her, and she is now back home.
Now I can get used to Commering again.
Piccies will follow as soon as I work out how :)

For those who don't know or remember we bought Buttercup from my wife's parents 23 years ago, they had her from about 1 year old.
We'd done the usual rolling / running repairs for most of these years, finally decided after my wife's parents had both passed away that we either needed to give up or get it done properly.
Needless to say giving up wasn't really an option so she went to Jules & his boys at Ratsport to do a proper job.
Hats off to Jules & his gang they have done a great job as you will see from the pics, not cheap but worth every penny & we made some big decisions for the long term, stainless steel exhaust, rechrome everything that could be chromed etc.
As you can tell I'm kind of pleased / excited like a kid not with a new toy but with an old toy beck better than ever.
Now for the interior -
More will follow, no stopping us now!

Unfortunately not we will be in Oberammergau that week but we will get to meet some of you somewhere this summer.
We are going to get at least the seats reinstalled sooner rather than later and get out for a few weekends before getting the whole interior installed probably over the winter.
