This is the sort of thing that opens peoples eyes to just how flimsy some vehicles are [xx(] and exactly the reason why we all should have extra strengthening and things like roll bars added.
Imagine what it would have been like at 60 mph [:0]

My sentiment entirely Tim. These old vehicles open up like a tin can when compromised[B)] i don't imagine for one minute that people back in the day survived accidents the way we do now:(

replacing the door and straightening the roof up might not be so much of a problem, its where do we find another whole side panel to replace the knackered one. we would need a scrap van from somewhere. unless you ask tim if you can buy the nessasary bits from his numer three i think.;):p

Hi there.

A side panel would be excellent! Could you give me a call on 07958 363430 to discuss the details?

Hello all,

Just a little update on the Bumble situation. After a huge amount of negotiation and letter writing between us and our insurance company, they eventually paid out. Thank you so much to Tim and Commer Chris for providing panels and to Dave at G.A.S. Automotive, Bumble is now fixed!! All we need to do now is to re-fit the interior, fit new engine mounts, fix the damaged radiator, re-paint and MOT in preparation for our holiday on 14th June. Wish us luck and pics to follow!! We are soooooooooooo happy and excited.
