Went to see a Ci Spacevan camper, in Derbyshire on sat. Saw it on Ebay.
Generally quite good, all the flutes round the cab had gone, but a tidy job had been made of the repairs. It ran very nice, (really slow:I) and was tidy. The interior needed a bit of tlc, especially the cupoard doors, but all in all a nice useable van.
The guy has 2 Commer campers, so hopefully he will join our throng :) I did ask him to pass on the CVF details, if he manages to sell it.

Some people just say anything without checking the facts, all campers and motorhomes used to be referred to by the public as Dormobiles regardless of the coachbuilder! likewise the vacumm cleaner being called the Hoover :D

Hello All,

I am new to this website. I am hoping to track down the owner of 'Buggles Kelly' as I used to go on holiday in it every year as a kid. Specifically, I am looking for Dodge CI Motorhome reg number LKY 418W (photographed above in this thread). I guess my dad sold it around 1990 - it was fantastic to see photos of it on here, even if they were 4 years old. I have a few photos that might be of interest. Any information on its current whereabouts would be most appreciated.

That has got to be the biggest body ever on a Commer/Dodge and the poor old 1725 would have it's work cut out to haul it about (as the sticker on the back suggests) - but it does have a certain charm:)
