BT Commer Van in France

Can anyone help please. I have an BT commer van in a field in France.
I bought it in 1989 and It did several trips back and forth from London to SW France before ending up in the field.
I kept thinking I'll restore it one day but 30yrs on its still there. A bit rusty! Not a runner.
Can anyone recommend someone in SW France, Dordogne or Charente area ideally, that could restore it for me? It may not be saveable in which case someone could have it for parts maybe. Photos are very old! The tractors and 2CVs are long gone.
merci.

Hi shannon and welcome :)
I wish I could help but I've no idea about the restoration companies in France but can recommend Martin Maltas at commervanspares for the panels you will need to supply to whoever does the work. Make no mistake though it will be a massive job after being laid up for so long in not ideal circumstances, the upside being that Martin can make and supply just about anything you need.

Good luck and please let us know how you get on.

Hi.
You could try the French Rootes group car clubs. They may be able to advise you better:- https://www.sunbeamclubfrance.fr/

and another one..http://classicsunbeam.free.fr/

I’m not too good at French to work out what each one does. But they may be able to assist you with a regional specialist company who can assist in pricing up your project.

best of luck.
