Bonnie has to be ready for her close up today as she was visited by Pascal who flew in from Paris to capture her likeness for a new collection of classic campers being produced by Premium Collectables:). She was 3D scanned and hundreds of pictures taken of every nook and cranny:eek:

Will have to wait about eight months for the finished article:(

Thanks, I think so too:) Hopefully the scan wont show her blemishes up too much - she is a girl after all. Does my bum look big in this;)

Yep, in about eight months:rolleyes:
He's also going to send me the finished scan but I cant post it anywhere on tinterweb because of copyright :(

She's looking mighty fine in beige panky. I am currently trying to get some cellulose made up as jimmy looks to be the same colour (assuming commer only did one shade of beige) I read on an old Web site that rootes did a regency beige but this no longer exists. Do you know if this is the case

I dont think it's a Rootes colour on Bonnie, it would have been a paint option at Jennings the converters - I think it's an old Ford colour . If you can find the RAL number for Regency then you should be able to get it mixed.

The only numbers I've managed to find are now obsolete (according to a classic paint specialist) so I think I will end up trying to get it matches to a sample, luckily enough the front of the fridge had a painted panel I can use

It took a bit longer than eight months but the freebie has arrived :cool:

It really is a gorgeous model with all the little details that make it Bonnie and not a generic model:)

Wow, that is very nice little Bonnie, or should I say a Bonnie little model! Is this the same French magazine which produced the nice Maidstone model?

Here are some useful sets of Rootes paint swatches and codes etc.

I've used these guys for several samples before I settled on my own colour scheme, they were really helpful have most of the Rootes recipe charts ;
