Breathable van cover

Hi Commer fans ... Just a quick question, I'm looking for a temporary van cover for my new van to help keep some of the ravages of the Cornish weather at bay until I can get its new warm and snug home sorted .
With so many on the market I wondered if anyone had any preferences ? ⛈❄️☔️
 
I wld suggest a poly tunnel or a pop up garage if u could. Car covers are a nitemare to keep n. Car covers tend to rub marks in areas and a good quality cover is a silimar price to the pop up garage or a small poly tunnel

The Just Kamper ones for the baywindow VW seem to fit OK, check them out. Andrew has not long sold his van and is selling his cover so you might get a bargain, I'm sure he'll be along soon.
 
Ahhh ok I was wondering if a bay cover would fit .... And living in the VW BAY capital of the world I might pick one up second hand .The trouble with polytunnels it's windy down ere

STAG ..... Just a few little bits n bobs I want to do , brilliantly Davy threw in an SU carb , rs40 and a quick starter so want to get these fitted ....
 
All I'll need then is the showroom style garage David Courier had and I'm set haha. See the posts that David put on here of the work he had done gave me a lot of confidence buying
 
Hi David, my cover is a just campers one. It fitted fine over my old van, I'll keep you posted with mine as I think I've agreed a sale.
 
david as far as the wind goes im in the hills nearly 900ft up. I gt a lot of wiod and my mate has 1 n the south coast of ireland. Theres only a few hundred feet between it n the cliff edge to the sea. His is up 5yrs! I thought it be gone by now
 
Hi David and well done on your purchase. My only experience with a supposedly breathable cover ended up micro blistering my paint work on my beloved mgb. The theory goes that if the condensation that builds up under the cover is not allowed to escape properly when the warm weather arrives it basically boils up and the results are quite devastating. Check to make sure that any cover you aquire is compatible with old style paint ie cellulose

Wow ,ok well I will look into it more closer . It should only be a stop gap till I get my lockup finished ...
